This is the Cuisset’s powerhouse 100% Merlot red wine which has been their mainstay organic red for many years. We are yet to meet a red wine lover who has tried this wine with us and has not thought this is rucking marvellous!
It has a deep nose of red berries, ripe blackcurrant and mocha. Silky and smooth on the tongue with a great bouquet of plum and vanilla with a long and glorious finish, so “try” it…….often.

Product Details
Just to the east of its more famous neighbour Bordeaux, the Bergerac region (also known as Périgord and Dordogne) is not well represented in the UK nowadays and we think that needs changing. The vines of the Cuisset family are centred around the small village of Monestier where vines have been planted since the Middle Ages (1053). Guy Cuisset and his sons, Gabriel and Julien, have helped to turn the whole estate over to organic production and are now adopting new, modern strategies in the vineyards and cellar which requires moving away from the reliance on the old AOC Bergerac rules (dating from the 1950s) as the brothers deemed these unsuitable for today’s climate, market and organic vine growing opportunities.

We think red wine fans will love this smooth yet bold 100% Merlot Reserve and so far the response from our customers has been fantastic. The 2019 vintage is on order and should be with us in the UK and ready to drink by April/May 2022.
